Gates Taxidermy Inc. was born in February of 2008. After having worked for Hawkins Taxidermist for nearly 15 years I was informed they would be closing their doors, after almost 100 years in business. To make matters worse, my father Jim was also an employee of Hawkins since pursuing his interest in taxidermy as a young man in 1969. Confident in our experience in the industry and our ability to provide our clients with the quality and service expected of a leader in the industry we formed a partnership that is now Gates Taxidermy Inc.

Everyone at Gates Taxidermy are committed to preserving your memories through quality taxidermy and professional service. With over 50 years experience and after having mounted thousands of specimens, you have probably seen some of our work displayed around the globe. We have worked on “Locked at Lac Seul” and the reproduction of the Hansen Buck for All Canada Shows, as well as numerous other high profile pieces. We without a doubt have the experience and know-how required to preserve your trophy for years of memories.
